Medicine Hat
Medicine hat is a 6-piece rock band with a southern American feel. The drummer is my friend Garry, a brilliant and inspiring drummer. I went to the Cambridge Rock Festival on Saturday 19th July 2008 to watch them play. A great set! here are some photos:
Cambridge Rock Festival 2008
Yesterday I went to the Cambridge Rock Festival. I met up with my friend Garry, the drummer from Medicine Hat. I saw loads of other bands too. The festival was great.

Grade 8 – Distinction
I recently passed my grade 8 drum kit exam with Distinction.
I would like to thank the drum teachers who have helped me get there. They are David Humphreys, my first drum teacher when I was 6, Luke Wastel, and Malcolm Ball from Redbridge Music Service. Thank you for all your help.
I now want to go on and learn other percussion, tuned percussion and also do a diploma in performance using the drum kit. I will continue to develop my drumming skills.

Redbridge Music Service BBQ
On Saturday I played drums at the Redbridge Music Service summer musical barbecue. I played in the Intermediate Wind Band, the Junior Wind Band, and the Brass Band. I really enjoyed it. Thanks Mr Forder for the photograph.

Distinction
Today I entered the Stratford and East London Music Festival. I played one of my grade 8 pieces. I was awarded a Distinction and a special cup. I would like to thank Malcolm Ball for all his help.
