thanks, well I only put carpet on the internal walls initially so far due to lack of funds. This does help to some extent but ideally you need to install some kind of sound absorption such as a purpose made foam, like I did on the ceiling. This really helps stop sound bouncing off the walls, making a deadening effect. I&#039;ve started to purchase and install the following foam recently:

Sound Service Oxford are good at giving advice too.
